Season Three Of Veronica Mars Repeated On UK TV
Season Three of Veronica Mars is to be repeated on Living TV starting on Monday 8th September. Unfortunately, it's at 2am in the morning! Time to set your Sky Plus or DVD recorders!

ABC Greenlights Rob Thomas Project
ABC have officially greenlit Rob Thomas' new TV Series. Well, we say new but the series is a reinvention of Cupid, a series created by Rob Thomas back in the 90's.

No cast news as yet but stay tuned for more as we're hoping Thimas will reunite some Veronica Mars favourites.

Kristen Joins Astro Boy
Kristen Bell will voice the female lead in the CG-animated film Astro Boy.

The TV show Astro Boy originates from Japan and was first aired in the 60's. It followed the adventures of a robot boy created by a scientist to replace his son following his death in a car accident. Following rejection from his crator, Astro Boy went on to fight crime, evil and insjustice.

Bell joins the voice cast of Nicolas Cage, Bill Nighy and Donald Sutherland.

Bell And Thomas Discuss Mars Movie

Entertainment Weekly has learned exclusively that Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell and creator Rob Thomas are discussing a possible Veronica Mars movie.

The impromptu pow-wow between Bell and Thomas took place last week in the offices of Thomas' Hollywood-based production company, which just so happens to be located on the same lot where Bell is shooting Heroes. "Kristen and I ran into each other, and we did discuss a Veronica movie," confirms Thomas, who says he has also had "a few conversations" with Mars executive producer Joel Silver.

"It's very tough to focus on it right now with two pilots on my plate," adds Thomas of his two ABC projects, a reworking of his '90s dramedy, Cupid, and an adaptation of the New Zealand series, Outrageous Fortune. "But as soon as I have any free time, that's my top priority."

For her part, Bell considers it a "major compliment" that people are still interested in Mars. "[Fans] still ask me all the time if the show's coming back. Emotionally, I don't want to think about Veronica Mars every day because it really does make me sad."

Regarding her recent chat with Thomas about a Mars feature, the star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall, perhaps not wanting to jinx things, flashes a Cheshire cat grin and says, "We'll see."

Julie Gonzalo Wins ALMA Award
Congratulations to Julie Gonzalo who won Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Drama Series at the ALMA Awards last night!

The former Veronica Mars star won the award for her role in off-the-wall TV series Eli Stone. Gonzalo triumphed over nominees Dania Ramirez (Heroes), Alana De La Garza (Law & Order), Marisol Nichols (24), Paula Garces (The Shield) and Lauren Velez (Dexter).

Kristen To Crack (Little) Britain
In an interview with Movies IE, Kristen revealed she is in talks to appear in sketch show Little Britain.

The actress said, "I’m talking to Matt Lucas and David Walliams about doing something for Little Britain. I’m a huge fan. It’s genius. I know Little Britain is getting an HBO show, so that’s cool. With Little Britain, I really pitched myself to Matt and David – they had no idea who I was!"

Kristen Bell attended the Annual Jennifer Klein's Day of Indulgence yesterday (Aug 11th). The actress looked lovely in Vanessa Bruno trousers and a Monrow vest top.

"I can't indulge the whole day," sighed Kristen Bell who made the most of her brief time at the girly bash checking out jewelry and accessories from J. Crew, Havaianas, Swatch, Tina Tang and UGG. But Bell's first priority upon arrival? Go in search of sustenance. "I'm always excited about food," she exclaimed, getting in line for the Chop't salad bar with Natalie Portman.
