‘Veronica Mars’ fans are still holding out hopes of a movie on the short-lived series, according to Digital Spy.

Creator of ‘Veronica Mars,’ Rob Thomas, said that the film version of the hit series is still a “possibility.” It was rumored that Thomas was currently in talks to bring the TV series to the big screen, but it was reported that the film had fallen through. Thomas, however, is saying that there’s still a chance. "It's not dead. I continue to want to do it."??

‘Mars’ star Kristen Bell has said that a script has been drafted, but Thomas is saying that claim is not true. "I did have a treatment and a pitch... [but] it's been back-burnered", he said. "But I still want to do it. I'm still happy to do it. We're still looking into it."??

According to sources who attended the recent Good Housekeeping event, Kristen Bell broke down in tears.

The actress was walking the red carpet when she was approached by a young brunette lady thought to be an assistant to Lisa Oz, Dr. Mehmet Oz’s wife. Kristen started crying and the two hugged. Witnesses are unsure whether they were tears of joy or sadness but let's be honest, it's really not like Kristen to have a public meltdown. We just hope everything is ok and they were tears of joy.

Veronica Mars actor Ryan Hansen has landed the lead role in NBC comedy pilot Friends With Benefits.

The 28-year-old will play Ben, a young man who is awaiting true love while enjoying a relationship with Sara (Danneel Harris), who is also looking for the perfect mate.

Hansen replaces Patrick J. Adams, who was originally cast in the role, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The show's script is penned by (500) Days of Summer scribes Michael Weber and Scott Neustadler. Wedding Crashers helmer David Dobkin has signed to direct the pilot.

Friends is currently in second position to Hansen's role on the Starz comedy Party Down.

We are very excited by the news that Julie Gonzalo will make a guest appearance in the hit crime show Castle!

The show is taking a stab at reality TV with an episode centered around the murder of a former contestant on a Top Chef-like series. But that’s not the big news. Julie Gonzalo stars as a high school friend of Beckett’s and beautiful and dynamic restaurateur who finds herself mixed up in the aforementioned murder investigation.

The May sweeps outing is cheekily titled “Food to Die For".

We love Castle here at VMUK! For those not in the know, it stars Firefly hottie Nathan Fillion as crime novelist Richard Castle who partners up with Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) for research purposes. It's clever and funny, and the on-screen chemistry between the two characters is electric. Loving the addition of Veronica Mars alum Julie Gonzalo even if it is for one episode. :(
